My 89 IROC-Z Project Car.
I bought the car for 550 dollars and it wasn't running when I bought it. This winter i'm going to be taking the engine out and rebuilding it But here are a couple of pictures of my car.
I'll be taking some more pictures tomorrow of the engine compartment, but i need to clean it up first.
I haven't got too much done to the engine yet other than got it running becuase when I bought the car it wasn't running. I'm going to be also putting a new paint job on it during the winter and changing out interior and exterior colors. This is the orginal paint from 89 on it right now.
Liquid diamond makes it shine like a new paint job.

Well there was a few things most importantly was the ground wires not being hooked up a few of them. Main one was there was no engine ground. Then it lacked power and finally after a few months of having an IROC without power I realized the fuse box was melted so for now its hotwired without fuses and all of the sudden I had power like an IROC is supposed to have amazing what a melted fuse box will do.
But back to a few other things the Distributor was put in 180 degrees backwards. Needed new spark plugs and new spark plus wires. There used to be an intercooler on the car and they removed it which i didn't know til we finally got it started and all the sudden you see oil coming out everywhere lol. Also I had to replace the driver side floor panel becuase I stepped down into the car and steped right through the car lol.
So here are a few pics of what my engine looks like until I put the car under severe construction this winter where the car will be stripped completely down this winter to the frame and painted and new interior because the interior looks really bad but other than that it wasn't too bad of a buy.
I'm looking to paint the car blue with white stripes. The interior I'm looking to change it to white and blue.

The car looks real nice for $550. I see somebody changed the serpentine belt for a cheap A/C delete instead of buying the delete pulley.
