Re: question

Serviceable Parts Identification sticker in the center compartment woudl be a start, but i'm already guessing that it has been pealed out by someone, if it hasn't, come back with all the RPO codes (the little 3 digit/letter combinations) and we'll try and help ya from there

Re: question

305 isn't bad, 350 is the gem of the bunch, but in '85 all the had were 305s. They are reliable little engines, produce enough power to put a smile on your face but not enough to wet yourself or anything, but like i said long term reliability is there, they are easily rebuildable, parts are cheap, and easy to maintain. Just stay on top of it and it will prove to be a good investment, i just bought a 305 5 speed firebird and the motor sounds ferocious (a bit pickup-ish) but it's strong and you can leave rubber whereever you like. good luck. How much you pay if you don't mind me asking.

Re: question

Not to bad, it does look solid for it's year, possibly a bit steep, but just take care of it, how many miles she got and what options??? Looks like your dash pad (top of your dash) isn't cracked and in good condition, take good care of that!!! used they go over $100 on ebay alone, so it costs a bit much to replace so just take good care of it, and if you decide to go armoral happy with the car, don't do the top of the dash, i've read with the heat it actually hurts the vinyl. If you want go on the home page there is a link along the left side of the screen that says RPO decoder, if you have that sticker i was telling you about that is supposed to be in your center console, you can tell what options your car has.
