Re: pictures of my camaro

looks pretty good, different indeed. Are you open to suggestions? I would paint the center caps back to match the rest of the rims, and perhaps have some grey bowtie decals made to match the grey on the car to stick on the center of them. The wing, to me, just doesn't seem to flow.. I'd personally change it to a Z28 wing or something similar.

whats it got under the hood?

always open to suggestions, in fact, one side of the car has the center caps painted except the centers which is what i plan on doing to the other side. the wing, i just prefer the lower look of it

it's got a 350 in it, mild build, still working the bugs out of it. backed with a 700r4 and 3.27 9-bolt rear end.

I'd lose the wheels and that spoiler. They just don't go wit the car IMHO.

I agree with painting the other 2 wheel centers black like the other side. I also like the front grille-way better than the stock one.

Re: pictures of my camaro

Is that a Firebird rear wing?

I think the early Z28 style rear duck tail spoiler looks the best on those cars.

It looks a little sinister now...

undercover cop would be pretty cool, never actually saw it like that but it works well. haven't been pulled over yet, maybe that helps it....

yes that is a firebird spoiler, just set back as far as the deck lid would let me mount it.

thanks for all the feedback, good and bad.

Re: pictures of my camaro

wow, that thing looks badass. i would change the rims, the spoiler and the taillights. rather than that it looks sweet. i really like the carcoal with the flat black and all shaven. just do something about the nose emblem, get one or shave it...or a polished stainless one would look great too.

Re: pictures of my camaro

i like it! any plans to lower it?

i'm digging the flat black/ silver look as well. however i think a gunmetal, or a darker silver, might go together a little better. little less contrast, ya know?

all in all, sharp! different!

Re: pictures of my camaro

I dont like the black wheels, but on the passenger side where hte centercaps are black it works a LOT better. Go ahead and paint the other two center caps. It looks mean on that side!

And guys.... I think he IS an undercover cop. Check out the squad car in the background. First picture.

What happened to the T-Top camaro in the back left of that same picture?

Although I like the wheels, I cant help but feel that car is going for a more old school hot rod vibe with that matte black paint. With that in mind, I bet some 15 inch wheels with some fat white lettered rubber on them would probably look REALLY good on it. Just a thought!

right now the plan is to put some 1" lowering springs on it, the reason i haven't lowered it already is there are so many dips and speed bumps around town i keep bottoming out on

doors have a solenoid that opens the latch, and a door popper pops the door out enough to get it opened. operated by remote that i also have set up to roll the windows down.

that t-top camaro was wrecked in the front and my hard top camaro was wrecked in the rear. chopped up the two to make the one pictured
