Eibach Sportline Springs Kit is in!

Almost ready to put on the road, I just finished the installation of the new Eibach Sportline Springs...a couple of more tweaks lower the back a bit & trim the air deflector and she'll be ready for the year...here are the lastest pics!

Low deflector plate huh? I have to shave it a little now!

I think it's because I also have the 2" dropped spindles in there from when I first lowered it back in 1993/1994

Re: Eibach Sportline Springs Kit is in!

I just came back from the shop where I got a real good look and yeah it's too low in the front so I decided to trim a ring off the back to sink it a bit while it raises the front, I have no rubbing issues at all when you turn the wheels to the left or right as it sits, it looks a hell of a lot better but it could use a little more trimming in the back, sorry I didn't have my camera with me but after it settles I will snap some pics!

Your car is amazing, however there is no way that sucker would be getting out of my driveway. Hopefully there aren't too many ridiculous inclines where you are...hate to see that paint messed up on the front.

Do you guys know it's not a '91-'92 Z28? Sin did an awesome job putting the car together.

Anyway Sinister... Nick is vouching for me on Z28.com so hopefully I'll be back on there soon. I still see you around on XBox Live(nerd atak), we oughta get something going.

Re: Eibach Sportline Springs Kit is in!

too low now . If it was sportlines or dorp spindles it would be fine but both is too much . I have sportlines and when i saw that pic i was very surprised on how low it was. You need air ride now .

What I have done already is...I cut a coil off the back to bring it down a bit more which raises the front...you know the teeder-todder effect, I'm going to drive it for a week and let the springs settle then I will probably shave 1 more ring off the back!

sorry man but I don't see it... my car is hard enough to drive already with just sportlines. unless your driving on a groomed runway 100% of the time, your just asking for trouble imo. any inclines or transitions will be a no no.

If that's the case then I will just order a new set of spindles (factory height) that should cure the problem for been way to low!
