My Camaros
Figured I'd show off a few pics of my cars.
This is the nice one, 89 RS L03 700R4 Bose system (minus head-unit, P/O pulled it and put in a POS sony) WORKING trunk pull down motor
Sorry its so dirty, I've been driving it the last few weeks and haven't had a chance to wash it again.

This is the ugly one, 84 SC, converted to V8, 700R4, ~370HP
I'll get better pics of it when I get the trans back in it.

Re: My Camaros
Thanks! added the front hood hold downs to the ugly one last week. Here's the plate I fabbed to replace the one where the hood latch was and also the tabs that hold the hood on.

and a shot of the new tires. Sorry its on the trailer, I just pulled it out of the building to put the transmission back in it and was finishing up the hood the day before.

I like the rallys on the first on. That is definitely something you don't see very often. And I was never much for the 82-84 looks, but this thing has potential!

Re: My Camaros
On the 84 I've stayed away from ground-effects. I wanted the clean body lines and "not a Z28" look. I've got another set of rallies I'm thinking about having color matched to the 89 and run the police caps w/o trim rings. COPO look if you will....

Well, I finally managed to get some good pictures of the ugly one. I had them both pulled out so there are a few shots of them together.

Re: My Camaros
I've got the 89 on the road for a few months this fall and took it over to Dad's yesterday. He was putting a thermostat in his 96 SS and we decided to drag all our Camaros out and take a picture. All I've got is a cell phone pic, but here's the line up:
Dad's 96 Z28/SS #848 of 2400 5.7 LT1/4L60E
My 89 RS L03 5.0L TBI TH700R4
Dad's 86 IROC/Z LG4 5.0L TH700R4
My 84 SC 350 TH700R4

My 89 RS L03 5.0L TBI TH700R4

ZOMBIE THREAD ALERT
Digging this back up to update...
So life has been busy. Having three kids, the Camaros haven't seen much daylight in the last several years. The Red SS and Black IROC were sold recently. Dad's getting older and doesn't have the desire to wrench much anymore.
The blue RS has been hidden in my garage awaiting either revival or liquidation and I'm hoping to get the garage cleaned up enough to begin working on it next year. It needs hoses and a tune up at least. I have a few other things I'd like to do but we'll discuss that later.
The rat rod is still ugly and resting peacefully in my Dad's shop. He fires it up occasionally and idles it around the barn lot. I'm undecided on its future though. Again, that's a discussion for another time.
Anyways, hopefully I'm back. A few years older, not much wiser though I'd imagine. Haha!
