72 & 92 together finally
I just finished the 92 a few months ago and bought the 72 last year. It goes under the knife in a few weeks. Never took pics of em both before, so I'll bore ya with a few pics!

And this last one is of my son, who, if he keeps his grades up this year, will own the 92 when he turns 17 next July. Ya gotta have a cool ride when your a senior, right? LOL

And that 72 is going under the knife why?
Man, that is one lucky kid. He doesn't look like he'll be 17 though. That car will make him look a lot more mature.
I would be studying my butt off if I were him.
BTW ... nice barn! That is really pretty!

Re: 72 & 92 together finally
The 92 has 2" Dropzone's on it and rides and drives surprisingly well.
The 72 was restored about 10 years ago and is showing it's age. Weatherstripping is shot, paint has bad spots all over and suspension is original. She'll get the full Pro-Touring treatment over the winter.
Worst of all - it's GREEN!! LOL

Beautiful set! I wish my dad would get an older firebird. Lucky son you have there.
I bought my Formula off my dad after he put TONS of money and work into it. It just sat and he decided he couldn't keep it anymore. So... I sold my 1970 Lemans project car to buy my formula. Worked out great for both of us. After TONS of hours of tuning and work, it is running great!
I hope your son gets it. I would study my *** off, or at least take very easy classes

nice cars... the 92 looks great, only thing I'd change is the emblems, I think it's kinda silly when people make up these "rare" models. On a completely unrelated note your son is incredibly young looking for his age, I would have guessed 13 tops.. lucky kid though.. wish my dad woulda gave me a car that nice for my 17th birthday.. hell I wish my dad would have given me a car period..

And yes, he's always been vertically challenged! We still pass him off for 12 or 13 at shows, theme parks, etc. that he drives to! LOL
He'll probably be signing up here shortly. His first love is flying, so he'll probably just call the car "Blue Angel #8".
Thanks for the comments guys.

That's funny, my parents use to do the same thing with me, I was like 5'4" until I was about 15 or so.. and I still have a baby face.. I get carded probably 50% of the time I go out drinking and every once in a while when buying cigarettes.. better then looking older though..

I don't like the RS/SS emblems or the checkered flag design on the hood but I'm gonna search high and low for those ROH snypers.

Nice rides dude! I always liked the early 70's. Came close to buying a 1974 and now I kinda regret it! I know they redesigned the whole thing in 74. Not as cool as the 70 thru 73 years. Oh, by the way I'm from Los Angeles and i aint never seen so much green and a barn too!!! LOL

What's so wrong about my height? It saves us money at Six Flags and such!
The only real problem is having a nice thick booster seat so i can see over the dash in the 92. Everybody says I'm gonna sprout up soon. I'm still waiting!

Re: 72 & 92 together finally
Flyin, I take it your the son. You are very lucky to have such a father I hope you know that. Your going to love driving to school in a car that cool looking your senior year. I had one similar to the green one (but it was a 74) my senior year. It wasn't as nice as the 92 you guys have, hell it probably wasn't as nice as the 72 you guys have. But it was my baby and I loved it dearly. To the OP (original poster) your the man, I followed your build thread and re-read it a few times, I waited on the updates and can appreciate all the hard work that went into it. I am facing a similar build myself and am in the deciding stages on it currently (as well as doing a good bit of day dreaming as well) I have a few questions to ask you and will probably shoot you a few pm's as well as a few others on this board. Close up pix of the 72 would be greatly appreciated btw. I can only hope my son and/or daughter will take as much intrest in a project car when they are old enough.

Re: 72 & 92 together finally
Thanks for the kind words Doc, dreaming is where it all begins!
You can find more pics of the 72 and follow it's future build here,http://www.nastyz28.com/forum/showth...ght=Blubyu%27s
Feel free to pm me any questions you may have about your project. Take your time and do it right. Not sure if it's your daily driver but it sure makes it easier if it's not!
Taylor or I will post up some more pics later of the 92 that we took today at the airport after flying lessons.

Re: 72 & 92 together finally
yeah unfortunately it see's use daily, which means that everything has to be done in a limited amount of time. Since thats not always possible I do minor tinkering here and there while preparing for the next week end of upgrade/fix/remove/replace. I am currently working on getting the last of the pieces for the outside of the car (minus some misc. dent pulling and paint) then its int. time. After the nose and gfx I plan on changing the brakes and installing a 4th gen rear. I really like your snipers, and had I the money they'd be going on my car. I will check out the other build and read it enthusiasticly. You do good patient work.
::EDIT::
I read the thread, that car is definately nicer than my 74 was. The hockey stripes weren't bad IMO, but I love the ones on it currently. Can't wait till you start on it, be sure to keep us updated here too.
