My 86 Iroc-z, Hows it look?

Well here is my 86 Camaro. Just a 305 TPI engine. 700r4 trans. Bought it in July and have been driving and working on it.. Its pretty much original. Has 72,000 Original miles (iv drove 2,000 of them). I have re painted most of the car, New center caps, new Fog lights, new flowmaster exhaust. Just things here and there. Only thing it needs is a head liner. The interior is in good shape and the car runs good.

And Suggestions? Things you think it needs? idk its not the Best Camaro But i like it.

Re: My 86 Iroc-z, Hows it look?

now that is nice, i love 86 irocs... and all the others to but 86s are my favorite. I just thought i would share a few ideas.. ummm i would put the pin stripes along the bottom again but thats just my and one last thing... You should look into the third brake light decal. I have one that i ordered from Custombrakelights.com for $16 shipped and it was a huge upgrade. I get complements all the time. Mine says IROC-Z on it and if you look in my SIG PIC you will see the letters as the background but i attached another pic of it. Keep that iroc doing good -Matt

Thanks, yeah Something about 86's I just cant figure it out... maybe the high 3rd brake light... lol.

But thanks for your ideas. I thought about the Stripe, I like it on the blue and red ones like urs, But for some reason I dont like it on the white ones. Just me. I cant really make up my mind. But I wouldnt do it anyways right now becasue I might paint it soon. And for the brake cover, It is cool. But For Some reason I dont like any kind of light covers... lol. I want complete stock, show room floor looking iroc. EXCEPT The motor. 383 Stroker, and get ride of all the computer crap...

Thanks.

Yeah In your thread I said GET A IROC HOOD!! lol. And for the Bumper, the top black mark is actuly a gouge, the guy backed into a pole, before i owned it. So I have to do some filler, Iv fixed all the dents and painted most of the car, but thats the one spot i havent touched, lol idk why... But thanks.

I second putting the lower striping back on. also some new front indicators will make a big difference.

Sweet looking car. Like some others here, I think it is really calling out for some OEM lower stripes. Gold would match the wheels and interior and look totally sweet.

**** what the other people are saying on the other forum.. Most of them aren't even old enough to drive and don't have a car.. so they treat their scooter like a 1964 chevy impala.

Thats a very nice car and will definitely be worth something down the road.

Very nice clean looking car. I also vote for the stripes. I have the gold pkg. on my car and I think it would look to plain without the stripes. Everybody has there own opinion. Anyway, still a sweet car thats in great shape for the year.

I want complete stock, show room floor looking iroc. EXCEPT The motor. 383 Stroker, and get ride of all the computer crap...

Funny you said that because I have a white 85 z28 and thats what I have done with mine. I lowered it and put a cammed 350 in it and took out all the computer crap. I think yours would like badass if you lowered it.
