My 1983 Z28
I'm new to the forums, so I thought I'd post some pictures of the car... that's usually a decent introduction, right??
She's all stock. For now...

looks great. myself i would leave it stock with the exception of the rims, which i would keep, and some under the hood stuff.
what do you plan on doing to it?

Re: My 1983 Z28
I'm probably going to go with a 383 stroker or 350 crate and build it to god knows what... I have also put a lot of thought into an exhaust, and possibly ZR1 rims. (Black w/ chrome lip.)

Looks like it's in great shape!!
-But who replaced the tail light lenses?? Those aren't the originals.
-The shifter looks different too -Is it an automatic?? If it is, someone replaced the tranny too since the L69 package in '83 only came with the 5 speed manual...

Re: My 1983 Z28
They aren't?
ETA: It's a 5 speed. Just a different shifter ****, I believe. I meant engine wise, it's all stock... lol. Sorry, some small things may have been changed! This is my first F Body so I don't know a ton about them yet.
ETA#2: You can see the shift diagram in the interior picture. ^^

Nope - these are:
Ahh, OK - the shifter just looked different, didn't notice the shift pattern plate. The car's 25 years old so I don't doubt little things might not be original. I wish mine were in that good a shape when I got it!! Instead, mine had a hard life....rescued it from sitting in a driveway outside for over 7 years....if I didn't buy it, it was on it's way to the junkyard for sure.

Sorry, a little jumpy today. People have been tearing every detail of this car apart since I got it running again! Even over the pioneer head unit. I like my music to sound decent, dangit!

Welcome to TGO Tranquil if you haven't been welcome already I have a '83 Z also and it's nice to see another. Not to be another nit picker but she has '84 seats probably to replace a torn original set.

Very nice. I see you also posted in the 82-84 thread. We're trying to keep that thread going. Again, very nice ride and welcome to TGO. Please post more pictures.
