tore it apart, gave it a good cleaning, and repainted it
new bumper, hood and finder (didnt much care for the rs slotted grill so we went with the iroc grill, and painted the light wells like an iroc also)

Great job, I'm 16 and in the process of cleaning my 88 up, but money is hard to come by. You did a good job honestly, it would be awesome if you were close to me haha nobody in my school can tell their **** from their elbow, especially when it comes to F-bodies (Only one in my school is mine)

You did the right thing, she might have gotten salvaged if sold to somebody in prior condition. Restore, don't crush!

Wow I failed to read that you are 15-16. Im 16 also and am currently rebuilding my 1992 rs. It's Almost exactly like yours. its a 305 tbi 5 speed and its white. I'm also thinking about putting some kind of stripes on it.
