With one month until I can start driving my car again I have decided to get it repainted (Well 95% of the car). There was rust, dents and paint discolor on the car and guy said If you want a good job I have to repaint the whole car but hatch and bumpers. I said ok and after one week in shop its getting painted tomorrow. I have before pics and right now I have photos of the car in shop since its right next door to me. Here you go.

More money that I dont have and that paint is still fine. Bumpers would have increased it another $400 and my mom is paying for a lot of this because she backed into my car. Im just paying for my rims to be redone and decals to go back on car.

The my friends dad whos working on it found dents i didnt kno that were there and rust as well. He did a fantastic job and looks amazing.

 

The entire project is running $1500? I also have a white camaro that is need of a paint job and I'm really curious to know how much a good paint job will run me, $$ and time wise.

 

Yes but this is my friends dad and he didnt wanna charge me a lot. He said bod shops would cost $3500-$5000 and he got rid of all the rust I had, even the rust I didnt see

 

Ahhhh ok. I guess $3500-5000 ain't that bad. I have some bad rust spots that are really an eye sore :/ and I have the original clear coat peeling off in certain spots. My car looks like its shedding :/

 

Mine was in good shape just minor dents and then another decent size one when mom backed into my car. Paint job before was ok done and now its looks great

 

Nearly Finished! Decals are coming in tomorrow and wheels are going back on as well!

Wow man just amazing. You are going to have one of the nices Camaro's in the world. I wish mine could look as good as that. Congrats man. Hope you werent to mad at your mom mistakes happen. I had one of my cars on ramps one day and they broke the car then slid into my dads truck. **** happens.

 

Thanks it looks amazing I have it now and Im trying to take some good pics. I have some I took on the phone but the car doesnt start right now because of a fuel pump failure

My car is idenical, but mines a 86 and I dont have t tops. I just put the stipe around the botum on my car. What color did you use on the rims? id like to do that also.

 

looks like the bumper doesnt match. the paint and wheels looks good i would have invested the extra money you woulda been much happier.
