Re: how's this look?

What I find interesting is how high the new camaro sits in relation to your third gen. I thought it'd have a lower profile? I know performance wise they stick like glue but it appears to sit higher. Part of the 1969 profile I guess. Both sweet lookin though !!!!

Re: how's this look?

The new camaro does look the best out of it's competition, although I like all three cars, I think the camaro has the best looks and the V6 is definitely something that has not been done before bythe big 3 w/o turbos or superchargers. The new Mustang GT when it first came out had a v8 w/ 300 hp and not nearly the MPG that the camaro offers. GM had an obligation to come up with a fast retro car that had better gas mileage than it's competitors. Obviously with a little aftermarket help it will look even better. Look, everything changes, so has the camaro.

Re: how's this look?

ok the new camaro is ugly.
it looks like a cheshire cat grinning.
the back looks like a chrysler or stang.
the rims are too big and the tires are to small.
it looks like everyting else out there - the camaro and fb were hot because they had their own look - this has a community look - it could be anything at a distance.
ITS COMMON AND ITS UGLY!

Re: how's this look?

the ss makes 422 hp. i have a dealership near me that a salesman owns one. 3 things wrong with it, 1. restrictive intake (ugly too) 2. exhaust manifolds 3. super quiet exhaust. i love the looks of the new ones plus the interior is hot. his was jewel red, which looks great. did notice paint shade was different from nose and the right fender.

Re: how's this look?

Wow that new Camaro is ugly! WTF was GM thinking? They should have followed in the footsteps of Dodge Challenger. GM's version of RETRO is FUKED up. What the hell were they thinking? Whoever designed that POS should be fired.

Re: how's this look?

Looks pretty good! By that I mean your car.

The new Camaros look decent at best. They're getting all the design features of a imports and SUVs. Short(nose to tail) and fat(rocker to roof). I think it would look a hell of a lot better if they made it long and sleek like EVERY other Camaro. Too many cars trying to be an SUV(tall, with 21/22s) Car makers have me dissapointed.

Still the new Camaro looks better than the new Mustang but Challenger has it beat style-wise I think. The Camaro might end up like the Charger with 4 doors before too long...

Re: how's this look?

i agree that the challenger looks the best as of right now. and yeah i also agree with how big those damn cars are. my dads friend has a charger and thet frieken thing was as tall as my dads truck almost. had 22" rims and he still had 2 inches of clearence in the fenders. it looks like it got hit by both sides and just smashed. it needs to be LOOOONG and short. it would be perfect. b ut everybody expected to be driving 'bubble looking' cars by the year 2000, so theyre trying to make the 'future' version. bast@rds

It sits way too high. Your camaro looks better than that one hands down.

Re: how's this look?

i do think they would look better lowered. you know somebody is going to go crazy with one, ie airbags, rims, paint and those that just like them, will love them. i'll have one and change a few things. but my iroc will never be sold. EVER! my 3 yr old son says it's his car when he gets big like dad. thanks for all the inadvertant compliments.
