me and my dad finally got my 91 maro painted, its got some runs we gotta sand out and dust but i think it turned out good for a garage petitioned off with tarps lol i couldn't figure out how to put the pics on here so this is a link to my pics of the car on myspace. we've been working on the car for 3 years between me going to highschool and working 5days a week at mcdonalds to pay for everything ha ha. i;ve got some 18 in iroc rep.'s and all new headlights and parking lights to put in.

looks like it turned out really well.. can't wait to see it in some sunlight and reassembled. is the colour red or orange, its hard to tell with that indoor lighting

its 69' hugger orange with white stripes that i layed out and i sprayed the color and my dad did the clear.... the flouresant lights make it look red, its killer lookin in the sun, i have all new headlights and irocs to put on it, so it should stand out big time.

 

Looks like all u need is a good wet sanding and buffing and BAM a beautiful car!!!

Damn, you did a great job! I will say however, that I'm not a big fan on the white stripes. They just seem a little too big, on the wide side. I think I'd like em better thinner.

But still, that's good!

 

. we finally got done sanding and useing the 3m 3 stage buffing kit and it worked amazingly. there is no dust at all in the paint anymore. we hit the car with 600, 1,000 the 3m rubber 2000 and the 3m rubber 3000 and then did the 3 stage buff. i love the stripes, i always wondered why they didn't follow that body line.. illhave some pics of it when i get it back together...

 

cool deal. come a long way. i just picked up my 86(my first camaro) and it is in bad shape. i love seeing before and afters. one day i hope to share mine.
