Car: 1987 Camaro Z28
Engine: 5.0L LG4 (Going LSX down the road)
Transmission: T-5 (Going T-56 down the road)
Axle/Gears: 3.23
Back in a 3rd Gen F-Body
I just picked up a 1987 Red (w/ Silver two tone) Z28. It s a "strippy" model and would be considered as "1LE" if were a few years newer (i.e. Hardtop, bare bones, NO power options, NO A/C, big front sway bar etc. The only "luxury type" option is vinyl sport buckets (in fantastic shape).
It's an only an LG4 Carboratored 5.0L wit a T-5 manual; however, still pretty fun to drive. 3.23 gears.
120K original miles (carfax).
Everything works!
The plan is to do an LT or LS convesion down the road.
Anyhow, just wanted to share.
