well finished my paintjob today. clear coated and im done... good enough for a garage paint job. no onto putting the motor in. and getting it back together.

 

Hmmm... i cant say i dont like it ,, but something is missing.. just cant figure it out yet. I was trying to picture it with just the top part of the car painted black starting with the hood. I seen one like that and it looked bad a**!!!

Your flames are kinda strange looking... maybe should have place them on the front end only? Anyway it looks like you have some sharp painting skills, when you visiting Los Angeles man? =)

 

lol that was the first time i tried designs up close you can see flaws with the flames but i was just having fun. next time will be better, live and learn i love the color thuogh cant wait to get it back on the road.

 

Maybe hatch louvers--1 piece??
You would have black but still have rear visibility.
Or would that be too much black in 1 area???

 

ya i thought about louver on the back window.. not sure yet. i'm going to get it all put back together and get that motor put together then play with some ideas.

ya i had it on there. was getting bored..... i trade a lot of cars i think it's still on there, although now that i'v made some good progress i'm liking it again lol although i'm always up for trades if it's fun. i just got some new rims and tires last night for it and a came across a couple more parts for my motor so the mustang project is just gonna have to wait while i finish up the camaro.

 

I think it turned out great. It's different,so I say good job.

 

thanks rob. ya for a garage paint job and my first time trying a design, i think it came out OK. i was just hoping to be driving it by now. with the move and getting a new job i just haven't had the time needed to put it back together. I'm hoping real soon.

 

No belly button paint job for this guy! I commend you for your courage on doing something a little out of the ordinary. People get all wierd when they see something out of the ordinary, but you move on knowing that it is something that YOU like, afterall aren't you the one driving this thing?

 

lol amen brother lol ya everyone says these camaro only look good "all one color" well to each his own. i just had some fun with it. it will definitely be an eye catcher

 

i know my pics are a little redondent but i pretty much finished up the interior other then door panels and hooking up the stereo. does'nt look like it but i'v done quite a bit on it(electrical) should be pulling the motor within the next week or so. also got some to different tires and rims, pretty fat in the rear
