Morning all,

My name is Phil, I am 21 and I live in the volunteer state (but not a UT fan lol)..... now thats thats outta the way.

I just purchased my first camaro, a little backstory on this car....

It belonged to my fiance's best friend'S EX-husband(but the title was in the friends name) about two months ago the friend finds out that her new hubby has "taken to the crack" and after she discovers that the hubby broke into her parents house and stole her dads gun.... she files for divorce.

Fast forward to about a month ago the hubby is driving to his house and he gets pulled over... he has no LIS. and a stolen TV in the backseat so now hubby is locked up for a long time (prior convictions) and the friends is stuck with an extra car she does not want.... so here I caome to save the day!!!

as i hear that she i looking to get rid of this car i ask if i can look at it for a buddy (he didnt want it anyway) as im looking it over i see it needs love.... and a tune up. when she ask how much i think shecould get out of it i said "I'd give ya $400" she disappeared for about 4 minutes I figured i pissed her off. then she comes back with the title and says "K here ya go"

so I hopped into my $400 DOLLA MARO and rdie into the sunset..... and now im here....




OK so all i really know about the car is that its a 305ci (fine by me) and the exhaust is mainly held up by wire(not in the pic that was before i bought it) and she had Ttops and is auto .... the trans shifts out fine motor still needs a good tune up and i need new tires on all four corners I figured i would fix that and the marker light problem (they dont come on just the turn signals.. not sure if the brake come on either lol) and put a new hood latch on it and i would have a descent car.

Welcome to TGO. It looks like you got a good deal. Is it the way the pictures were taken or is the tailpipes sticking out really far?

 

The whole exhaust is actually hanging down way too far... I plan on taking time next week to play with the timing a bit and get the exhaust off the ground.... and then im going to the PULL-A-PART to get a few goodies ( new hood latch and maybe a RS "body kit")

 

Yeah, I just read about your broken exhaust hanger issue. Good luck with it.

 

well lucky for me the local exhaust shop owes me a few favors... and he is gonna get it hanging in the right place.
