It has to be rigged. There's NO WAY that a local guy can get enough votes to beat us unless he's on a 4x4 forum or cheating. Same for the car in #2.
We need a programmer to write something that will autovote several hundred times. I've seen a similar program go to work like that in the past to make the numbers ridiculous...
Good luck dude, still hoping for the best!

I cant believe that youre down in 3rd! How the hell is that (Olds, Pontiac, Buick, whatever the hell it is) thing in 1st? Seems like the 18th is the 3rd end date... Somebody at the radio station dating the girl in 1st??? Sounds kinda fishy. Ive gotten a lot of people to vote, voted at the school, neighbors, library! Got my fingers crossed for you man!!!

Thanks for the continued support guys
Voting is still going on... I'm sure we're close.... My boy blu JUST took the lead back, so the margin between 1st and second is probably small, if i can hit 2nd I'll be REAL close!

Do they just log by IP address or do I have to make another account to vote again at home?

Well if anybody has any friends or family they can call, this is it. Contest ends at 5 alaska time, in an hour and ahalf.
Or if you have any other computers, a library close by, you could try voting again on those... Thanks for all the help guys, You've been amazing. I'm hoping for a miracle, but it's not looking so great...

My Boy Blue won - not The Project. That just sucks. Definitely tried to get you and keep you in first. So sorry you didn't get the win - hopefully there was a 2nd and 3rd prize too and you got a little something, something.

So since you lost the contest did you sell your car or somethhing or what because you havent posted on your thread for a long time
Since loosing the contest, I continued doing what I had been doing all summer up to that point. I worked my *** off, making minimum wage and spending tipp money on a bronco gas tank working for Pizza hut.
Life since then has been a real rollercoaster between work, college, and the girlfriend, and honestly I've turned into a wreck, and am not doing as good as I would like.
Luckily between all the crazyness, I was able to make some work on the camaro. Here's a couple preview shots until I bring it out from hibernation.

Finally, I want to make a last thank you to everybody here for your generous support. It was HARD getting to first in that competition, and it was in big part to you all that I got there. Unfortunately I couldn't keep it and take the big prize, but it still means a lot that so many people out there took the time to help out little ole me, so thank you Thirdgen.org, you guys are amazing

Yup, it's slowly coming together
I'm looking forward to getting it to show status and entering some local car shows.
Here's some older pics from before the accident, don't know if I've posted them, but you can get a nice view of what I'm working with

-The cassette? Pink floyd's "The Wall"

Porno red interior FTW!

-Before the crash

-Always thought our cars looked best with the top down

I don't remember my engine bay being this clean though a lil while after this I went in and gave it a small cleaning. With a good spray down I might actually be able to make this look like new. 150,000+
