Guys, I need your help! I recently entered my 1992 camaro RS into a local "Pimp my ride" contest, and I made it into the finals! I'm one of 50 other cars competeing for the prize. They're giving a $5,000 paintjob, a complete tuneup and detail, as well as a new soundysystem to the winner, totalling $10,000 worth of awesomeness!


This might be my one chance to finally fix up my camaro. I'm a college student making minimum wage at pizza hut, so I don't have a lot of extra cash to spend... but if I won this, I'd finally be able to turn my baby into something amazing!

I wanted to give you guys a lil status update on my end... but I just got home from a 9 hour shift at work, and their calling me back for another 4 or 5 hours. Pizza hut, UGH!

Well guys, after 2 days, I've managed to shoot from 48th positing to second! Thanks so much for everybody's help, you guys are truly truly amazing!

The easy part is done, getting 1st will be the real challenge. I did a quick google and confirmed some suspicions I had. "My boy blu" is REALLY getting the word out. I found like 3-5 different sites advertising the contest and trying to get votes for himself.

So unfortunately I'm not alone in knowing how to use the internet, which means I'm really going to need the help of my fellow thirdgenners to pull this off!

Voting was supposed to be ending today on the 7th... but I heard on the radio that they are going to extend voting till around the 18th, and announce the winner on the 21st. Either way, I'd love if anyone who hasn't voted could go ahead and help me out! Either by getting friends or family members to also vote. Perhaps even post about this on other forums?

I'm out for the night, I just got off an 11 hour work shift and have work in another 5 hours, so I'm pretty exhausted... If there's any progress I'll post about it tomorrow. One last thanks, and i'll talk to you guys later!
