After being camaroless for the first time in my life for the last two years, got me an 1985 Z28 with 41, 781 original miles, original paint and original interior.

Funny thing is the guy I got it from lived 5 minutes from me but never saw it or heard of it until Saturday on CL.

The other weird thing about this is I was selling my truck and was offerred $7500 for my truck last Friday.

The funny thing is the seller of the camaro took this car as payment for painting service the original owner had owed him. The owner with the z28 called me 1 hour after I saw the car and he said he would give me the difference in cash on the trade we were doing. Smoothest car transaction ever. Sold my truck, got my z28 and got cash all in the same 20 minute transaction.

Just took some pics. It is running a little hot so I am flushing the radiator and changing thermostat.

It is the lowest powered 305 in 1985 (either 155 hp or 165 hp) and this will be the perfect car for my son who is now 13. His grin has not left his face for the last hour.

I love it. Not as much power as my 91 RS 305 TBI or my 92 z28 with the 350, but I love it.

wow your almost near me i live in killeen so ur bout 45 min drive. well my dad rewarded me with my rs it meant alot but i have some probs to tackile like why does it back fire and stuff but it a fun car!
