Car: Too many cars
Re: 1991 Z28
Bought this TPI intake this weekend. I believe its a TPIS ported throttle body (or appears to be), adjustable fpr, new rails, egr block-off plate, and stainless Allen head hardware on a probably stock TPI system. He SAYS it has a ported plenum and runners. We'll see I guess.... Either way, the price was right and it was all like brand new. I'll probably just buy some injectors now and put this manifold on the motor?... Decision decisions!

Couldn't tell ya....
Is an airfoil really worth buying? I dont buy into them really making more power. Seems right up there witha "Tornado" fuel saver to me... Need dyno proven graphs!

Don't know about performance gains but for the money, why not? It smooths out the air coming in toward the TB. After adding one to my CAI I had on my GTA years ago, the sound of the CAI got louder. I would assume that's because there was less turbulent air.

Re: 1991 Z28
So, the fuel pressure regulator showed up yesterday, and I got it set @ 50 PSI like I was told to.
Turns out I didnt set it correctly, and will have to redo it with the vacuum line off of the pressure regulator. I was also told by tech support now to set it at 45psi @ Idle... We'll see what that does! Thus far it seems like the problem has gotten better, but is still very clearly misfiring....

Re: 1991 Z28
New Fuel filter installed, and pressure was set to 45psi @ idle with the vacuum line disconnected as directed. The car still misses pretty bad, but is no longer backfiring.
I developed a new issue with posing my gauge cluster fuses. The previous owner made a cute rats nest under the dash for me to lose sleep over... So, I'll look into that mess whenever I get to it.
I just want to enjoy the car for once! Considering selling it and starting a new venture...
