can anyone who has tinted windows in their thirdgen please post here and tell how much they paid for their tint? im interested in getting 20% on all my windows. thank you! mitchell

 

is $150 good for these cars?

 

I personally have never tinted my windows (although I am planning on it because mine is coming off in spots) but when it comes to having them tinted I think $150 sounds like a pretty good price if they are installing it and even if you have to install it it still is a pretty good price I think because when you think of how big the back glass is...so in other words...
more material=more money.

 

they're installing it, to just to the back glass it would be $120 but its $150 for all three windows its odd lol, im going to have them do that insted of me getting my headliner done because that tint will look better and hide my system better.

 

Well it sounds like a pretty good deal to me especially since it is 20% tint too. Where are you getting it done at?

 

the shop im going to is called mr.window tint lol ,they have been around for awhile

 

$180 with a one piece sheet on the rear hatch, most shop do two pieces on these back windows, i think two piece just doesnt look right with a seem in the middle that can be seen up close if light hits it right.

 

Well i got mine done for $70 for all three

 

$150 is a good price for all three. I paid $200 in 1996 for my 86' Z28 for all three windows compared to $100 for just my two side windows on my 03' Silverado two years ago.

 

i just got mine done with 5% on the back and both side windows and paid 185.one piece on the back also. so i think 150 is a good price. but like avilla20 said i would get the one piece on the rear looks much better.

If you were closer I would do it for you for 1/4 that price. Takes some practice to be perfect but its easy. Did my dads 89 caprice in under 30 mins. All 4 doors and rear.

 

i planned on tinting my windows 20% in the back or even 5%. i wish i could tint my side windows, but state laws say no, and i dont want to draw more attention to my self in this car then i already do.
