how common is this?
Ok so i have a 1984 Camaro that sounds to me like it is a debadged Z28. Its has pretty much everything that the 84 Z28s had besides rim center caps and the GFX.
Here is a list of parts on it:
3 piece spoiler
Z28 5 spoke rims (but no center caps)
Black line dividing taillights
Rectangle fog lights/No slots in front fascia
"Louvered" Hood (not really louvers if you ask me, more like scoops)
305 "HO" engine w/ about 190HP and 240ft-lbs of torque
Anyone know about interior stuff? What did the seats and steering wheel look like?
Dont know about the radio because it was an aftermarket one when i bought the car but I do know its not that big retarded rotating square.

Does the VIN say it came with the HO, or are you basing it on something else?
The "retarded rotating square" is a Berlinetta-only feature.

Oh i didnt know about the Berlinetta-only feature.
The VIN has code "G" in the eigth spot. That should be the "HO" engine right? With around 190HP? I dont know about the other 305 offered this year but this one had a quadrajet on it.

G is the L69, so it had to have been a Z28. Probably it's been resprayed or repaired and the markings weren't put back on.

Re: how common is this?
Is there anything on the RPO sheet in the center console that would verify this?
