does the painted cylinder look ok?I was bored and decided to see how it would look.

It would look ok if the door handle was painted too. I personally like the silver better but that looks good too

I painted mine, my car was originally white so they were stainless, but I do like the black on silver look...

yea, when I get it more running I will paint the handles too. what would you think about the grey strips being black too?

I get new lock covers and lil key doors from GM every few years so they look factory fresh all the time..
they are cheap and easy to change, every few years I yank the door panel, pull the latch assmbley,degrease an reoil it so your power locks work nice and smooth.. While your there you can install a new outer window felt, fix that old rattling door handle with a new one and replace those lock cover parts.
Itll take a good sat to do both doors and maybe 1-200$ but its worth it to keep it looking/working nice and the rattles away..

man , you have no idea. i need everything on that door. new hinges, upper trim panel, guides, weatherstripping, handle,etc.
its actually down to bare metal where the window scrapes the body when the door closes

Do it like i used to do. Buy a part at a time until you get them all then boom spend a day and make a huge change in your car!
