87 iroc 305 TPI dumping oil..HELP!
So i performed a routine oil change about a week ago, while removing my filter the tube like stud that the filter screws onto came out with it so i screwed it all back together and noticed there was a small leak. about two weeks go by and im leaving work and the next thing i know im smoking up the street, i pull it over and sure enough oil all over the undercarriage. replaced the filter and the same thing happened. again i took it off tightened up the tube like stud a put the filter on took it for a spin parked and it was leaking shut it off then back on and it blew all the oil out? im at a total loss.. Any suggestions would be very appreciated.

If the oil filter male fitting came off initially, my first inclination would be that the threads were stripped either on the block or the fitting. If it were me I would go pick another one up and install that (what could it be, less than 10 bucks I would guess). When I did that, I would make sure that the mating surface of both the fitting and where the filter gasket touches is nice and clean to make a good seal. I would also put a small bit of RTV on the thread of the new fitting when threading it back into the block to insure a good seal.
Edit, you'd probably get more responses if it were in the TPI board.
