Just bought this beauty.

New to the Camaro world, but a long time lurker. FINALLY bought one.

Its a 84 z28 with a carb'd 350 crate motor swap. T-Tops, 5 speed T5 tranny. Runs great, I'm picking it up tonight.

Re: Just bought this beauty.

That is a beauty!!! I really like the color combo on it. I would love to see it with original wheel instead of the cholo old schools, but I have also seen worse wheels than those on these cars. Very nice!!!!

Nope, original paint. Never seen winter, always garage kept. Owned by an older couple that took it to car shows.

They don't look bad at all, and as long as you like them is what matters. Around here Cragar SS's are the "Too poor for Daytons" look on the lowriders, so probably why they leave a bad taste in my mouth.

Re: Just bought this beauty.

Very nice car and its a 350,manual trans. Again nice find, and the wheels look fine with the white letters out and what looks like a slightly raked stance. Now if you decide to go with the lowered look that is so popular here than I agree that a different wheel and white on the inside might be in order.

Re: Just bought this beauty.

I am not usually a fan of aftermarket wheels on these cars, but I think that the Cragers compliment the look of the early third gen nicely. The shiney paint and the body side mouldings say "I haven't been abused". Cosmetically, I wouldn't change a thing.

To be honest, I don't know the difference. Nor do I know if it was either of them. All I know is that it has a 350 crate swap.

Re: Just bought this beauty.

Thanks! I'll have some more pictures this week. Its been monsoon weather here the past few days. Gotta love NW Indiana -.-

Here's my dad's old ride, wish he wouldn't have gotten rid of it. They would look awesome together.

Yes, its a 2SS RS L99 Auto. It was too refined for me, but still fun.

Re: Just bought this beauty.

Thats a very nice early thirdgen that you have. There are not to many around that look like that. Do you have any specs on the 350 that you have? Thats a very cool car and you should have a lot of fun driving it. Ha ha welcome to the thirdgen club.
