'89 red ttop project, 5spd car
I just picked this up today, not sure what I want to do with it just yet. It's originally a 305TBI / 5spd RS, ttops, but right now it has no engine or trans. The linkage and all the hardware for the 5spd is there, so I think I'm going to try finding a TPI motor and a 5 or 6 spd trans and get it running. The interior is red and black, was partially swapped over to black but I actually like the red cloth seats and they're not ripped so I may put it all back to red.
The body is pretty solid, just one rust spot in one of the quarter panels and another spot up by the windshield. There's some dings here and there but nothing major.
The good stuff that came on it are the IROC-Z hood, a brand new OEM bowtie Z28 grill (not installed), LS1 10 bolt rear end with disc brakes, tubular panhard bar, and tubular lower control arms.
It has a clean title as well, so I'll be getting that transferred over to my name here soon.
