Blacked out rear turn signals
So I've been wanting to change up the rear of my '91 Z28. I really like smoked/blacked out tail lights but I want to do something a little different. I was wondering if anyone has ever just blacked out the amber turn signal section and left the red tail light section as is. If its been done before let's see a picture, or even a photoshop.

Re: Blacked out rear turn signals
I had considered doing that for awhile, but I actually like seeing an amber light flash for a turn signal rather than red... I just don't like seeing an amber lense. Also, so many other people have done that, I don't want anybody to ever be able to confuse my car with someone else's. Has nobody smoked or blacked out just the amber portion?

I did mine just like maroman88, it's the cleanest option IMO, other than tinting them all completely, which would get me pulled over too much to bother with.
FWIW, they actually still flash amber when you spray the turn signals, they only look red when they aren't illuminated.

Scuff the lights and tint some clear with a few drops of black and spray, if it isnt dark enough retint and spray, let it cure and buff out. I only put 2 drops of black in my detail gun, I did'nt want them dark just tinted a bit but really shinny, I need to do the solid black part now
