My $1500.00 dollar special

Not sure if I had ever posted pics of my Bird.
The gentlemen I bought this from really hated to sell it. He was a war veteran who had kidney surgery. After his surgery, he could not drive it because it sat too low for him to get into it and the ride was too rough for him to drive as well.
He took great care of this car. The interior is mint except for the console. The soft shell of the console has pulled away but easy enough to fix. He put fresh paint on it but it's what I call a 50 footer.
When the body work is completed, I promised him there would be a small American Flag with dog tags painted on the back. He was the original owner and I assured him that the car would be well taken care of.
Now I have to admit, I have always been a Mopar guy. I have had alot of Fords too. But when I drove this thing with the WS6 suspension, I could kick myself for not having one of these sooner.
Upgrades are so easy and working on these are a breeze. I have to say, I am a converted Chevy man. But I will always have a soft spot for any American Muscle car I see.

Beautiful car! That's exactly the car I was looking for when I was trying to find my third gen. Now I know why I couldn't find it - it's in your driveway. Seriously, enjoy your new bird. I've only had my Z28 for a short time but I know what you mean about enjoying the drive so much.

Or feeling your car try to follow all the grooves in the road like my wide-tired 89 Corvette! The first time it happened I thought the steering wheel had suddenly grown a mind of its own and an affinity for the guard rail off the right side of the road. Now I'm prepared.

First time I drove my 88 with the 255/55/16 I thought the same thing. I came off the highway and caught some grooves in the pavement. It was like being along for the ride.
