dprest68, i've seen you car over on Fl-Thirdgen....has been quite a while since then. Good to see your upgrading the drivetrain. I sometimes go up to Deltona and enjoy the Blue Springs. Your only about an hour and half from me.

Oh cool! Yeah, I thought I recognized your car from that site. Yeah, it's about time I'm getting it upgraded since I have had this LS1 stuff since April of '09. Drop me a PM the next time you're going to be in the area. Maybe you can drop by and we can chat for a bit. That would be cool.

Yeah, They would have originally been on a 77/78 T/A. I got mine from Yearone. They're reproduction 15x8's. They have them with different color paint in the inner part of the deign, I chose silver to match my coming paint scheme. They fit just as well as the originals do, I wouldn't go wider than that in the front though...

Is that a 4th gen spoiler? If so how easy was it to put on your bird, and mods needed?

Re: Post your firebird pics

It's under restoration now Going in the paint booth this winter, and going with black w/ truefire bird on the hood and b-post. Mild custom. Since the car has a newer fascia and tail I don't see the reason to go original on the paint sceme

Good job Mak, looks much better. Especially better than painting it black. Didn't hear about your wheel getting bent. Still waiting on mine to get here. Hoping in the next 2-3 weeks i'll receive them.

Thanks she is a project.

For the wheels not much yet just strip and repaint. Right now my agenda is as follows.

1. Weld in patches underneath.

2. POR15 the floor inside and out.

3. Install newer seats and carpet.

4. Rewire back up lights

5. Install aluminum drive shaft and replace fluids

6. Replace e brake cable

7. Install sub frame connectors

8. Install 2.02 vortec heads

9. Drive till trans or clutch dies then back to work
