I had planned to go to Philadelphia to attend the Army/Navy game with my Father, maybe next year. How far is that from Pitts?
CameronL awesome car man, it's looks great! I would love any year bird/formula! Prefer a 91-92 but would take a year like yours in that good of shape in a heart beat.

@Orinackra
Im in the North Hills, right by the high school actually. There are a few other thirdgens over here, but I never see them at the car crusises. And I know exactly how you feel about you car. It sounds like are birds are pretty much in the same condition, and sometimes I hate driving it. I always talk about how I want to get rid of it and upgrade to a 2000's mustang or something, but then there are other times where I love my car and want to hold on to it and fix it up as much as possible. I guess after dealing with all kinds of little annoying problems year after year it gets tiring.

Re: Post your firebird pics
yeah I had a Bra on mine in the 80s. Hated those. also if the paint fades at all they dont whith the bra and you get a "shadow". You also get them flapping against the paint. You may not notice it but you will eventually see scratches from it.

Re: Post your firebird pics
I just put it on to show to my friend that has a black 87 T/A at school. It will be off the next time I wash it, which will probably be friday lol. I put blue painters tape underneath it on the edges so I wont get any scuffs from it. Wish I would have thought of that when I drive it across the country with the bra on... Last time I posted photos of my car with the bra on it online I was told that you could get that bra I have with the bird on it as an accessory through GM dealers back in the day when these cars were new. I didnt see any tags on it, so thats cool if it is.

nice to see someone try something different in terms of paint and graphics. I bet about 90-95% of the firebirds on here are either solid color or 2 tone stripes, so it's nice to see someone try something unique. The pictures probably don't do the paint justice, cuz it's sort of hard to see the hard lines between the black and red.

My fault, I should have looked at the pics again. You CAN tell the difference in paint. I was just thinking about the 2nd pic with the glare on it. I retract my previous statement,"The pictures probably don't do the paint justice, cuz it's sort of hard to see the hard lines between the black and red."

Thanks for the compliment. I got those guage bezels from a guy on this site. I don't remember his name at the moment. Just keep your eyes out on the classifieds. They pop up from time to time. They aren't cheap though. They typically run about $100-$150.

Re: Post your firebird pics
As for me, these are pics of my Baby that I have spent countless hours and not so much money rebuilding. I was poor for much of it. Didn't really have money to start fixing everything except for the last 2 years really. Ignore the rubber on the 1/4 panels. I was having fun at the drag strip. Results can be seen in my avatar pic.

Mine? Yes. The snow is heavy and weighs down the top, stretching and possibly even tearing it. I didn't know it was supposed to snow that night and I forgot to park it in the garage.
I immediately scraped the snow off and moved it into the garage!
