Re: Post your firebird pics
Ryan JB, those aren't GTA wheels, they are just the base firebird crosslace wheels. The GTA's are very good looking wheels on these cars and are 16x8" I believe so a bit wider and bigger.

i googled love bugs....first thought was vw beetles. hahahahah but anyway...read that they are a bother for cars. in a couple hours they dry up and are hard to take off a car. so a bra is necessary?

Re: Post your firebird pics
RyanJB, those are the firebird crosslace, which are 15x7, the GTAs are 16x8 and look alot better IMO.
racerquinny, yes they are a PITA to get off, especially in AL and FL, so yes they do help in keepin your front end clean

Re: Post your firebird pics
dubs-..i love the wheels. and your ride height, im guessing its not stock!!!
Re: Post your firebird pics
Thanks. wheels are Torque Thrust II, 17x7 in the front and 17x8 in the rear. I got the lowering springs off ebay. They are Springtech 1.5 - 2 drop. I am very happy with the stance and ride that they give.

Re: Post your firebird pics
Not only are they very hard to remove but they are very acidic when they splat on the front end of your car. If you leave them on the car too long they begin to eat through your clearcoat and will need a repaint.

Re: Post your firebird pics
This is the pic of when she first left the garage after getting built.
'91 ws6 T/A I only got to put 20 miles on her before she sold. Really miss this car. Spent 8 months in the Garage getting built. Just for 20 miles of enjoyment. Makes me really sad thinking about it. haha.

The front end was sitting kinda high because of my drive-way. It had a nice stance on level ground.

Re: Post your firebird pics
IMO (don't take this the wrong way) that car deserves MUCH better than those cragars. That body style trans am is so great looking that I'd even prefer the stock 16" crosslace wheels over the smaller cragars. The ronals should look great though!

Re: Post your firebird pics
When i bought the car i loved everything about it accept the wheels. I had plans to change them but life got in the way, and 5 years later im just now getting serious on changing them. Over time i guess i stopped caring and just wanted something fun to drive and thats all that mattered. Once classic industries releases the RONAL wheels again i think im going to purchase the black insert wheels or buy the plain R15s.

Re: Post your firebird pics
Well I can definately see how other, more important things would come before a wheel change! And glad I didn't insult you either, lol. Be sure to post some pics with the new shoes on it when you get around to it. Great looking car too. My brother has a black 91 bird with a cowl hood. He wants the TA spoiler too to make it a clone. The 91/92 have a very distinct look to them, especially the TA's.
so my car came with drums factory. Here's a few pictures of the car i almost bought before this one, it wasnt near as perfect as far as paint but it was literally a L98 on steroids lol. The interior in this 90 was mint condition to. Came with every option you could get in 90 accept leather seats, and y84 for GTA. 4 wheel disc this car had the whole nine yards, only thing bad about it was the transmission was iffy on it. Wow. I'm not a fan of the diesel truck tips
.. Car is super clean tho.
paint the 3rd brake light housing, buff the center tail panel out so the shine matches the tails = good to go!
