Re: Post your firebird pics
thanks!! I was worried how they would look on the car. There was an old thread where these rims where photo shopped on a black formula. Didn't look very good, but they turned out better in real life. For me the lip on the back rims make the whole deal. The Moser 9" was narrowed 1 1/2" on each side.

Re: Post your firebird pics
Here's my contribution. I got her back in September after I wiped out my '87 T/A. This semester I've gone through it pretty much front bumper to rear bumper, fluids, hoses, belts, alternator, starter, rebuilt non CC Quadrajet, mechanical/vacuum advance distributor, ditched the emissions controls and AIR system, shorty headers, custom y-pipe, edelbrock cat-back, aluminum drive shaft, SFCs, lower control arms, panhard bar, KYB shocks, polyurethane bushings, 18" rims and z-rated all season rubber all the way around, swapped over the 4th gen seats, console, dash, tilt steering column, cruise control, and 140 mph guages from my wrecked T/A, along with the fresh TH700R4 and a B&M Torque Converter lock up, and a whole bunch of other stuff I know that I'm forgetting right now. Best part is, mine's the only wrench that's touched it so far. The car itself is an '87 Formula, WS6, with 75,000 original miles.
It does 0-60 in 6 seconds flat with the factory peg-leg 2.76 rear, and knocks down 29 mpg at an 80mph cruise on the freeway.
Big plans next spring include Trick Flow 305 heads, XR258HR-12 Comp Cam, new intake, T56 swap w/ 3.73 gears, and disc brake upgrades all the way around with some new KYB struts up front. I'm shooting for mid to low 13s at the strip and a serious road course car to show some of my BMW and Mustang driving compatriots how to drive a real car. Here's some photos from a few weeks ago, unfortunately I don't have any of the interior since I finished swapping over the dash and stuff.

Enjoy,
-Levi

Thanks for the compliment marks 10! And Bullydawg, the Mustang is my fathers car. I wish it was mine so I could actually put it through its paces, but its not. My dad drives it like a women. That car has never done a burn out in its life, hes never even dumped the clutch lol.

That car is awesome! I am from Vegas as well, looks like you live in the south part of town in the hills of Henderson. I just moved to Oklahoma City last month, I lived in Henderson off of Boulder/Gibson. I miss being able to take my bird out pretty much anytime of year out there. That's the only good thing about the desert.

Re: Post your firebird pics
Lol, nope, we were able to get it for $750 sense the guy didn't know if it was fixable or not. Just lucked out, really.I don't have any yet, but it's not much to look at. Stock 305 CID =P
However, the engine bay is black instead of red, which looks pretty niffty. Maybe I'll post some tomorrow if I can think to.
Runs ok though. Ran it at the dragway once when I first got it, only managed a 14, I belive.
You said you got some Chrome tips, though? Post some up close pics, if you can. I think it makes them look more aggressive

Always have loved the look of a white 3rd gen T/A with a black interior. But I gotta say the black cross-laced GTA rims look a lot better to me than the chromed IROC rims - especially since you have the matching interior.
