First Pics of 2010!
The car has been sitting for the last three months, so I filled up the tank with fresh premium and hit the road! I took these with my point and shoot so I did the best I could . I was going to ask too, How rare is it to have a L98/Hardtop/leather/digital dash combo? I have spent a lot of time looking on the internet and haven't seen another one like my car.

Thanks! and no, I really have not touched it at all. Its not because I didn't want to drive it, because I LOVE driving it, its just because I have been busy with school, and I have no job at the moment.

For "rarity"....The best you can do is go through the options you have & look for the single lowest production number. There is no way to get a pruction # based on combination of VINs except the compnine site.

Try http://compnine.com/vid.php but before 1990 (or so) there are fewer VINs in their database. Doesn't hurt to try though.

I can hear you on the no job.
I still have my talon though which is about as fun to drive as my firebird but currently it's broken and sitting in a garage. The firebird has no heat and its still WAY to cold and the roads have crap on them still here.
Definitely is torture though either way every time I see my bird sitting in the garage collecting dust. I've went and started it a couple times, telling people it was just to make sure i get the fluids running through the lines a couple times but it's more for myself to hear it's note

How does your car do in the heat of Vegas? I lived there in 2008 and couldnt imagine owning a 3rd gen there (I can barely keep my car cool enough in Seattle!!)...Do you have any overheating problems? I do miss Vegas (especially this time of year).....

Re: First Pics of 2010!
Thanks guys! Yeah, I didn't think the black paint would be too good here either. the few days it was left in the 105+ degree sun it didn't do too bad.. you couldnt touch it but nothing was melting lol. When I was driving it out here from Wisconsin is when I got all the problems worked out. I made it past Denver then the water pump gave out and spit out all the coolant. Then in Kingman Arizona (Right on the the Nevada/Arizona border) the alternator went out and I had to leave it there overnight behind a gas station.... other than that I have had no problems since. It overheated sitting in traffic on the strip once though, I never took it back again. One of these days I will take it down to the strip now that its cool outside and take pictures now that I don't have to worry about it exploding.. Before I moved I had the air conditioner recharged with R12 so it blows ice cubes even when its above 100 out. I took it to school for the first time ever today. I can report it's still a ***** magnet today as much or more as it was new lol.
