Re: Fresh paint on 1983 Firebird

Here's a couple more, the last one is the 4th gen leather seats I pulled from a 1994 Firehawk... if you look closely you can see the duct tape holding my seat belt receiver plastic cover together lol

Re: Fresh paint on 1983 Firebird

Thanks. And yeah that spoiler was a California car thing with the "500 limited edition" I like it alot, I think it flows with the body lines better than some of the other spoilers. That was pretty much the only cool part of the "500," the pin stripes and gray paint went by the wayside.

I agree with you on the rims, those Enkie's from the 80's are not really my style either but they were on the car when I got it. I'm going to go with some ROH RT 18in wheels, they should be here within a week or so.

Car looks solid! Like the ideas with the decal, wing, and hood choice...only thing i would do would be to throw some bigger tires in back to have a staggered stance to match the hood and wheels even better ...imo... but nonetheless great job with bird

really dont like the wheels??? Think they compliment car well (just needs bigger tires in rear)

Re: Fresh paint on 1983 Firebird

Thanks for all the compliments. Here is a picture with the new wheels. I like them but I am still keeping the old ones. To me the old ones have the classic muscle car look.... more so than the new ones anyway.
