New addition - 89 Formula
Noob to the forum. Figured this was as good a place as any to say "hey".
Just got my second 3rd gen today...an 89 Formula. Needs alot of work but gets around on its own, kinda. Good body, very little rust, and a 90's GM crate 350.
Probably gonna have a few questions as time goes by I'm sure. I'm much more familiar with 2nd gen cars, but the learning curve shouldn't be too steep.
And don't know what the future holds for this Formy. The last one I had was a 79 and it got an LT1/4l60e with a pro-tour suspension. That build is posted over at T/A Country. Sadly had to get rid of her to make way for my son, but the time has come to get my hands dirty again. So who knows?
Thanks for having me and look forward to my time here.

Great looking automobile. I too got my start on 2nd Gens. Well, after I went through a few old Mopars, but we won't talk about that...
Clean body and rust free are the important things, everything else can be fixed. I'll look forward to your progress. You'll find a wealth of information on here, it's a good community.

Yep, your past looks about like mine...
72 Camaro RS

85 Firebird (drag car)
79 Formula Firebird w LT1/4L60E swap
Been a lot of fun, looking forward to doing this one with my son as he grows.
