Underdrive pulleys slow down your water pump and alt. to free up some extra H.P.You can get them for your car,I would suggest March pulleys. They will cost you around $200.00

Well, underdrive pullies are simply pullies that are smaller than your stock pullies. They work by slowing down accesories. I have the three piece on my IROC and I noticed a difference in performance instantly. It is nothing like 100 lb/ft. more torque, but it is noticable. I am not sure if you can get them for a V-6, you might check with March Performance Pullies, which is where I got mine.

White under drive pulleys can help free up horsepower, they also under drive the accessories. While I don't consider the water pump and accessory, all the applications for the pulleys I've seen under drive the water pump by 15-25 percent. If you drive where your car is in no danger of over heating or have improved the cooling system so that losing 15-25 percent of the water pumps flow is no big deal, it may be worth trying. I know in the summer it would cause my car to overheat in stop and go traffic. You will also want to make sure the alternator charges if you install them. The pulleys are great for race only.

Just my .02 worth...I know some are able to run under drive pullies without any problems.

SLP had a set listed a few months ago for our 3rd Gen cars that were under $50. I dont recall the exact price.

Umm, why couldn't someone just go out and find a pulley that is a little smaller than the stock one? wouldn't that be a helluva lot cheaper?
