Where is the fuel pump on the 4th gens?

Is it in the gas tank like my 91? How would I get to it? Does it require dropping the tank from the car. Thanks
Bill

I'd say the gas tank..in most any car it's in the gas tank from what i've seen..and yeah you'd probably have to drop the tank to get to it..PITA to do

4th Gens chassis are identical to a 3rd gen's except for the front dual a-arm suspension. Otherwise everything from there back is the same, so yes it's fp is also in the tank.

Removal of the tank on a 4th gen is pretty easy. We did it on my brothers 96 Camaro about 3 months ago.
All it takes is time, took us about 4-5 hours to do pull it out, change the pump and sender unit, and put it all back together.
