What preformance chip should i put in a 1990 trans am 305 tbi to get increased preformance

If you can go to the DIY Prom section and understand it a custom chip would be the way to go. I have been reading it for months now still trying to get a grasp on it before I try saving up money to do it myself.

I would not spend more than $20 on a performance chip. Check Ebay. Invest in exhaust instead.
