Life update
I figure I would let you guys know what's going on in my life, you guys are like family, so here it is. My Christmas present was a dead pine tree crushing my 3/4 ton, liability only, homeowners insurance will do nothing. It sucks, but it is replaceable, but finances are not good. That was after we lost our 5 month old baby girl on the 16th. It is the worst day of our life. She was the sweetest baby we have had and we cannot express the depths of our crushing loss. Friends and family have been all that got us as far as we are today. Otherwise, there would have been no service for her. Our world is upside down to say the least. Donations from tech and friends have helped up since my wife is not able to return to work yet, so we are thankful for that. Please send us prayers if you can, if you want to donate I can post or pm our PayPal, we have been greatful for the support we have gotten from friends and family, all the way to strangers that feel for us. Sorry for a late update on things, I hope I am not getting the new year off poorly for some with such news.

And for those wanting to know, her name was Zianna Violet. The prettiest name of our 3 ladies we thought.

Re: Life update
Thanks guys, she was the sweetest little angel.
Matt, we have no answers, I am not sure what they call it now but SIDS is what it looks like so far. Very disturbing not having some closure to why we lost out baby.

Re: Life update
Having a 9 month old girl myself, I cannot imagine your pain. Truly sorry for your loss. Definitely will say a prayer for God to provide you and your family some peace and comfort.
Re: Life update
wow, VERY sorry to hear that man. It's sucks to hear of anyone passing, even more so when it's a little one.
I hope the new year brings better times for you & your family.

Re: Life update
Like I said on tech, I know words can not express how you feel or express enough sorrow for your loss. I hope the little bit of $ I threw your way helps in some small way.

Being older and grandpa,I was searching for words to post.Take whatever time it takes for you and family to grieve.I would think it is important for you to ask the doctor/hospital if there is a group of people you can join that is dealing with the same thing.Support for you and your wife is important guided by professionals.
We don't know each other, but even from a distance a loss like this is certainly a heart-breaker.I wish my best to you and offer a PM open 24/7 to you if needed.

Thank you Gary, friends and family help, but there are those close to me that have lost as we have, and it helps to speak with them as they know what it is like.

Sorry, but I need to move this to the memorial board. Any problems with that and you can take it up with JT.

I first saw this just yesterday, but like Gary, words fail me. That's something no parent should have to go through.

Re: Life update
Heard the sad news a while back on the Htownracing site. My deepest condolensces go out to you and you family. I like many on this board have never met you Zane, but trust me when I say we all feel for you. Your loss makes my heart hurt, a beautiful life cut way to short is always a tragedy. You'll drive your self crazy trying to understand why or for what reason, but in the end life does things we will never fully comprehend. At the end of the day you just need to tell yourself it wasn't your fault, there was no way to predict something like this, and don't let it eat you up. And the only real cure is time. Also, Gary made a great point about a support group, who better to guide you through a dark time than those who have been there. In the end life is way to short, and what time we do have we should make the most of.
Sorry for the long post from a stranger, but I felt it was important to let you know you have more friends and family to rely on than you think, even the ones you don't know yet.
Chris
P.S. She's adorable in that pic.

Wow - words possibly couldn't make you feel better after losing your little girl, but you have my condolences. I can't imagine the pain of losing a child at that young age. She was a beautiful little girl.

Re: Life update
I myself know the hurt and pain you and your family have gone through, I lost one of my twins when she was six months old back in 2003. She aspirated on her own vomit while I was at work and my wife was asleep. I just want you to know that you have my deepest condolences and my thought s are with you.
