hey all made it back around 1030, would have been on sooner but Nascar was on. you know how it is, some of us are not as crazy as mark.
anyway i was heading down Rt. 17 in VA pitch black, I've got the car set at about 68 on the cruise, i'm in the right hand lane, and i am zoning listening to music when i come around this corner, and guess who is in the middle of the road? bambi's older much bigger brother. I am thinking oh my G O D Thing is only half way into my lane looking right at me. but it's got that look that only a deer can have looking into head lights. I'm thinking with my luck no matter what way i go that thing will freak out and go the same way and end up being a big splater on my hood.
I mashed the horn, swerved and stradled the center broken line and Bambi's older brother decided that he wanted to live another day and bounced into the woods.
didn't know what i was going to do if i hit him in the middle of BFE.
