Yep, like Steve was saying, it is pretty tough to find anyone in there because the place is, as tony said it "HUUUUGE". The other thing was that it would add about 20-25 minutes onto most folks trip, and we have people coming in from all over. Some from NJ, lower eastern VA, VA, DC, and PA. North point is good in that it does not get packed, it's easy to navigate, and is a really nice park I think. I hope you can still make it out!

Yep, I am probably going post a new topic tomorrow so we can set up what is needed and who can bring what. I would think that if everyone brings something, then there should be more than enough to go around.

Oh yeah,

Seeing as this is a picnic/ BBQ type event, g/f's / wives / families / etc. are more than welcome, just post up how many are planning on attending.

Either date I think right now looks good for me as long as I have good directions from the Dover, De area to get there. My car needs a good shakedown drive after the T 56 install and would look forward to seeing some other "nice" 3 genners and not the run of the mill beaters. So right now count me in either day.

TH700R4 =

Replacing a stock TH700R4 with another stock 700R4 = :nono:

When the TH700R4 takes a dump it's time to =

Replacing a TH700R4 and it takes a dump again makes you want to =

Okay, so maybe I was having a little -too- much fun with the smilies :sillylol:

Question.. is this the same park?? http://www.dnr.state.md.us/publiclan...orthpoint.html I used mapsonus.com to get directions, says it'll take me 3 hours from central NJ.. just want to make sure I've got the right destination address!

I might come down, sounds like a good time, gotta see how college treats me for that weekend, though!!

I think this should do it.... ;)

Welp, just a FYI for the gracious folks who helped give my ride a push start last gathering, :sillylol: I think this should solve my problem. I was having trouble with the dinky little T5 starter heat soaking on me (after the T5 swap, never had a problem with the automatic starter), finally my remote soleniod kit showed up from summit after waiting two weeks. ( yep, it took UPS two weeks, it showed up the day -after- the show, grrr ) Got that installed, the soleniod worked out great, the starter got power but it was toast by that point. So, to end all this I finally bit the bullet and bought a HO starter. It puts out 200 ft. lbs. of torque and has a 4.4:1 gear reduction ratio, which is good for reliable cranking power for engines up to 18:1 compression. :hail: I think that will do it.

Oh yeah, I had it second day air'd this time around

HA! Bingo was his name-o. They all do that, it is in the way they are designed, if you take it to a shop they will say:

"Yep, your 3rd clutch pack is shot, it's time for a rebuild."

Here's a diagram that should help you see what I am talking about...

Oh BTW, don't feel bad, same thing happened to mine. It was a new GM unit (made in 99') and was great for ~40k miles. They suddenly one day I was coming around a ramp and went to accellerate, and it was like it was in N, down shift to 2nd and I was moving again. It's a LONG drive at 4500 rpm on the highway.

Haha, yeah, right, Mark? It'd be good to put some faces with same nicknames from here. I'm glad MDv6man mentioned this gathering over at the V6 website. Hey is there a rain date or anything? Or will it take place anyway?

ES87iroc, you might want to take 89irocz23 off the list of those coming, I think you didn't catch his joke in the chat I guess. He lives in FL, if he comes he deserves a cookie or something.

if you're in toronto, it would be a really long drive to out meet. I'm sure you're more than welcome to come. Its at north point state park in Edgemere, Maryland, which is right near baltimore city. We are having a big thirdgen car gathering/BBQ on the 21st. Its gonna be great.
