I need more computer help...

Well, the computer shop got the internet to work on my laptop by reinstalling windows. They also added 128mb of RAM, but now the computer won't start. It has 2x but most of the time it won't, it just turns on for like 2 secs then that's it. They have tried taken out the new memory with no luck of it working.
So, I'll be bringing it to the meet if anyone wants to help me out.

I'd be more than happy to take a crack at it, or crack it, which ever works best

I'm mostly software, but I took an A+ class. We didn't deal with laptops, so the only experience I have is with my own. I'll probably have it with me, that way we can check settings (if they can get it turned on :-) Hopefully it'll get worked out!

I see you're into weightlifting, cool , someone at the meet I can talk too besides about cars.
I'm a certified personal trainer, not a big guy though.

I haven't lifted in two months...pulled my right trap at work carying a box that was bigger than me. I'm not half as strong as I used to be, unfortunately. My highest one rep bench was only 285...right now I'd probably be lucky to get 225 up, lol ;-)

The thing I like about weightlifting is that you can't brag in a weightroom. Always a bigger fish! (Unlike listening to my friend who got a new muffler for his EX 4-door Civic... )

My biggest max bench was 230 when I was 160lbs. But, I don't do bench anymore, I'd be lucky to get 180lbs, I stick to DBs now.

230 @ 160!? Not bad! :hail:

When I did my 285 I weighed almost 235...so its not as impressive. I hope to start lifting again next week, once my doc okay's it.

update, got the computer back, was refunded for the RAM.

the computer will start once shut down, but only if I pull the power cable out and the battery, then put them back in.
