shut up, and go back to post whoring.
Anyway, back to subject. Once again I'll be out of town and won't be able to make it to DQ. Whenever the next DQ event is scheduled, don't make it for Father's Day weekend!
Ok?

Replace: (most have probably not even been replaced from original)
Cap
Wires
rotor
plugs
fuel/air filter
02 sensor
pcv
put in some fi cleaner
check tps voltage for linearity/correct output
clean IAC
check for vac leaks
check base timing
All together you will have maybe $75 and a few hours into the repairs. None of this is something you need a shop to do, unless you like getting bent over.

Turns out I'll be in town this weekend. I'm not sure if I can make it. We'll see, I sure want to show off my Ivert. If not, I'll bring it next month.
Peace Out.

If I can I'll bring my new F-Body -- otherwise, I'll be there in the b/f's T/A Convertible. What do you guys think of this new one? Got it for $100 last week, no kidding.

Well, the b/f says it's an LT1 TPI, but in looking at it I think it's the L98 TPI...it's a 350 I do know that. The tranny is the stock tranny, but we're getting ready to swap it out with a 700R4 out of a '93 Camaro we're parting out. I plan on adding new intake, headers...you know, the fun stuff.
I love the paint job myself...it's hands with water dripping out and the water goes into the flags. The b/f painted it -- he said that water is the most important element on earth, and the freedom of the United States was the most important thing to him. Pretty cool, I think. I'm taking off the eagle and going to paint the black gold metal flake -- but I won't start doing the paint job until next weekend. I won't have it tomorrow -- steering column needs to be put in so it "no go." Hope to see you there.

Sunday was a great cruise day, top down pedal down. Sorry we showed up late. It was great to see Charlie and meet Doug. Hope to see everyone at the next one. This time will try to be on time.
