Just got back from Carlisle an hour ago. It's raining, I'm tired, I won't be there.

 

Anyone going up tonight?

Still no IROC, so I'll take one of the other cars up, probably the Chevelle.

 

I will be at my sisters wedding and my 91 is in the shop.

how does it possibly have all that stuff you mentioned and yet it looks like *** on the outside? Like who would put all the money into the insides and have look like it does on the outside?

Is it a real z?

 

I'm guess he tackled the car in stages. And the body/paint happens to be the last stages.

 

Exactly and what would you rather have? A car with a perfect body...****y engine, broken transmission, broken rear, torn up interior...or everything perfect....and just need paint when you would probaly paint the car again anyway to make it the color you like.

hope ya got a good deal on her if you say its everthing it is. Is it in fact a real z? Wheres the original wheels, high rise, grille, fog lights?

If its a good body like you say with everything else complete then ya great car to start. Any rust underneath?

 

Its a real z.... the wheels are temp so the correct ones dont get messed up. I will post the RPO codes when I get a chance. It was a 305 car tho not a 350. And no rust.

 

Hmm, you think after 16 years someone might have done a few changes, borrowed some parts, ect.. Why do I feel a negative vibe from you on this I think crrllmich knows enough about 3rd gens to know what he is buying.

But we should be supporting and helping each other. Not second quessing each other.

 

I was just lookin out for a fellow member, lots of people change lots of stuff to hide other things. But ill stop being a pessimist about it, nice car, i like third gens no matter what the shape.

 

Its ok lol... the spoiler is in the guys basement being repaired because it was lightly damaged. Trust me I will make sure shes what he says it is before I am driving it.

I wasnt there last friday because of cruisin in the one because of it raining.

 

Tonight will be clear and in the 60's.

I'll be up at the lot tonight with a few others.

 

Hey Rick what happened? I saw a cop telling us all to leave. Whats going on? Any idea where we will meet now?

 

Uh-oh, don't know anything about this.

I'll see if I can find out anything. But I heard the area residents were trying REAL hard to get us booted from that lot.

 

I've heard Harford County's finest were given instructions to start booting cruisers off the lot beginning at 5 PM. You were given a few minutes to leave and, if you did not, your car was impounded.

From what I hear, everyone went over to the Burger King at Rt 543 and the bi-pass, near that Weis Supermarket that never opened for business. It's a much smaller lot, but will have to do until something else is worked out.

 

Let me clear some stories here. I was there till 5:30 and there was no impounding threats.

The cruisin station wagon was there till like 6:00.

Also everyone semed to have went there sperate ways.

Talked to Joe tonight (Notchback TA), some of it is true, some of it isn't.

But anyway, it seems the owner of Gardners does not want us there anymore because of (what else) the undesireable actions of a few.

No word yet on an alternate place, but Joe said he would call Amy later this week. They'll find something, they always do.

FYI, there is always the Fullerton Kmart on Belair Road near the Beltway on Saturday nights.
