Need a machine shop near Bel Air C5 swap

I need a machine shop near Bel Air MD to turn down a set of rotors for the C5 swap I've been trying to get done. I'll get the new rotors I just need someone with a lathe that's not afraid to do it. Pu##ys at the local so called machine shop said they can't do it. Bull crap. Chicken Sh!^s
Any body help out a third genner with a lathe??

Did you try Kunkel's?

Any of the local tire stores have brake lathes, maybe they can do what you need done. Just a suggestion.

Kunkels was the Pu@@y machine shop I was refering to. they didn't want to touch it. All the local service shops said they didn'y want to ruin a bit on cutting off the corner. I think it's because they didn't want to do it manually. They like to Set it and Forget it.

What exactly do you need done to the rotors?

I part time at a shop on Saturdays, if I can explain to the owner what you need done, he ~may~ be willing to cut them for you. If there is a tech article or something I could look at, let me know. Pictures would help too if possible.

Hope I can help, but its not up to me.

I need the front outer most of the hub part of the rotor turned down. Basically the edge needs to be taken off and squared. I will cut the actual rotor from the hub myself.

If you subscribe to GM high tech magazine, they did an article on the Corvette C5 disc brake swap in the last issue. You can also find numerous articles on the brake boards about the swap.
What is the name of the shop you part time at?

Thanx

I can do it for you. We're down near Arundel Mills mall. Shoot me some pics of what you need done.
