Here is a pic of the dent in the quarter. Nothing major. The girl said someone hit her in a parking lot while she was inside the store.

I got it for 500 bucks. All that was wrong with it was the battery was old and wouldn't hold a charge. Hooked my "Jump Box" up to it and it fired right up.
L98/Auto. Body has some surface rust, and the driver's door has sagged really bad. The handle on the driver's door has actually ripped the door skin where the handle has been pulled hard, because it's sagged. I'll be getting an entirely new door to replace that. Pretty much take a wire brush bit on my dremel and knock off all the surface rust and hit it with some primer sealant till I get it ready to be painted. I'm excited....

I would just replace the Pin and bushings but the outside handle has ripped the door skin and there is some rust along the top edge. The ripped door skin sealed the deal though. I called the local salvage yard and they said I could get it for 50 bucks. So I'm going to get the whole door and hinge assembly.

Amazingly, I hadn't checked about it having rear disc brakes, even though a guy at work asked me about it. I hadn't even thought about it since.

I just went and looked. Yes, it has rear disc brakes.

I do have a question though. Where is the sticker with the RPO codes? I wanted to know what kind of gear was in it. Thanks a lot.

2.77 if its stock, the discs make it quite nice for breaking also when you are on the home page of thirdgen.org look on your left and you will see camaro data go to your year and it will have tons of info. also rpo code in the center console.

I also didn't mention that they had a lot of replacement parts they never installed. They had a set of replacement hood louvers still in the original GM packaging, a starter, a new console (which I really only need the armrest), dash pad (cracked but not as bad as the original), and a she gave me the car cover as well. Which I'll keep on it, hopefully it won't get any worse before I can started on it good. Hopefully this week if the weather cooperates.

Oh, and a set of replacement factory fog lights. The original Driver's side light is broken.

Wow thats a good deal.

It's what i originally paid for mine, but after a few dumb moves it cost me 1200 bucks to get to running condition again lol.

Was a black, hardtop L98 with the 3.27 9Bolt disc rear.

I already miss my Z.
