EPROM reader

Hey, I was wondering if anyone had the capability to read binary files off of ECU EPROMs. I can't find mine online and need someone to read it off for me, since I don't have a reader as I'm using an emulator. I'm in Westminster and was hoping to find someone reasonably nearby... anyone?

Re: EPROM reader

Won't let me edit my origional post lol.

So turns out I won't be able to read it using a standard reader because of my memcal... not sure what I'm going to do at this point, I don't think I want to desoldier the chip.

edit:
turns out I need HDR1 Memcal Header from moates which will allow me to read the stock chip without removing it from the memcal. Guess ima have to spend the 10$ to get one just to use it once lol

Re: EPROM reader

Unfortunatly I can't help you much right now. I'm just starting at looking into getting one of these tuner things so I can fine tune my TPI. I'm still new into this world. I'm actually right down the road from you in Finksburg..

Re: EPROM reader

Nice. I got an emulator and ALDL logging cable from moates and have been playing around with editing things like TCC lockup speed, but my car runs like crap on the .bin that I found listed for my car at WOT, but runs better than stock at anything 4/5 throttle or below.

Do you ever go racing down at Capitol?

Re: EPROM reader

Haha, turns down I don't need a reader anymore. I swapped code from $32B to $6E, and my car runs better than ever, so I see no reason to read the stock bin off the chip.
