Cecil County 28th ??

Hey, Happy T-Day... Anyone else going to the test n tune Saturday at Cecil County Dragway? I have never been there, but am going to try it out. Should be a good time, I hear it's a good track. I haven't gotten a chance to run the 1/4 since putting in all my new suspension mods, so it will be interesting. See ya there

Holy Crap! I was three cars behind you when that happened. A piece of your tire went so high I had time to get out of my car and look at it up in the air before it came down! Sorry about the bad luck dude I saw you too Diablo in the White Formy...nice ride! I was there with my black GTA, mostly stock and couldn't get out of the 14's today. The track was hooking really well though. It was my first time there and I am definitely going back!

Re: Cecil County 28th ??

Sorry to hear about you bad luck man, I was right behind you when you blow that tire.....made my car shake a little, pretty scary from my view!!!!

Thanks 1970 Buick, I made 16 runs today so didn't have much time to stop and look around, lol, were you the one getting pushed at the fence there in the lanes??

Did anyone see the Jr. Dragster that rolled over at the end...she looked like she tried to turn to fast at the end and flipped on her side, she seemed to be alright though

Sorry guys if any debris hit your cars. These tires were bought in sept. and had 18 passes on them. Not sure what happened but its going to be a long winter.

Re: Cecil County 28th ??

I am not sure what the plan is right now its all still sinking in. This was my first car so its kinda like losing a kid. They were the MT ET street radials. A couple weeks ago the car ran its best ever ET @ 9.77 with a 1.30 60 ft with these same tires.

Re: Cecil County 28th ??

I was there to and had a good day. I saw your car and thought you broke an axle. Your gonna have to fix the car real good if it was your first car. Good luck!

Re: Cecil County 28th ??

That's terrible man. I don't have my first F-body anymore but if I'd sunk as much work into it as you've done to yours I don't know what I'd do. I'd be heated if that happened to my current and it's not even in amazing condition. Best of luck to you man.

P.S. with the short life of those tires I'd be in contact with Mickey Thompson about some compensation, 'cause that's ridiculous for such new tires to fail like that.

Sorry to hear what happened Dennis. I just saw a picture on ls1tech and thought that was your car. Good luck with the rebuild.
