Hey buddy, I live near Annapolis, MD but I have family in Dale City so I'm in that area often. I'm always willing to help somebody out. I'm a mechanic by profession and I've spent a lot of time working on mine and my brother's 3rd gens. Feel free to pm whenever.

Right off 610 and Shelton Shop Road....Anybody recommend a good body shop in the Stafford - Woodbridge area ? I'm looking for a good paint job on my 89...Body is straight...

 

I will be painting my car as soon as I fix the rear. Anyone seen the Camaro SSx, yea thats how I am going to paint my Camaro, I have a very large garage and all the tools to get the job done, just time is the only thing I need more of, I work to much between National Guard duties and working 10-12 hours a day at my job, its hard to find time to do what I want to, or help a friend out with their car. I need a vacation

Going to Summer Duck Dragway tomorrow if the rain holds off

 

As soon as my Z is ready, the weather should be just right for a cruise to Cumberland beginning in Charlottesville !! Who is up for it??? We can start in Charlottesville, go over the mountain on Skyline dr, run thru Harrisonburg then head up 81 to 70 west to Cumberland and spend the night then head back the next day!

Hey man Culpeper is indeed an nice area. I live near Annapolis, but the family farm is in Spotsylvania. Don't hesitate to shoot me an email, etc. if y'all ever want to meet up. It's only 2hours to the farm from where I am.

Off topic kinda but, my car failed VA state safety inspection for having exhaust cut outs? Anyone ever heard of this "law" that states "Cut-Outs" are illegal

 

yeah its a screwed up law but it is there my dad is a state inspector

 

Exhaust cutouts ???....Anyway Virginia inspection is ridiculous...They told me they wouldn't pass my emissions on my 94 chevy truck because of that aluminum corregated cheap tube that runs from the exhaust manifold to the air breather was missing. Any aftermarket overlays on tail lights are forbidden also...Depends on how the shop feels that day though as one year they passed me with the tail light overlays and the following year I had to yank them to get my inspection.

 

I live in Dumfries, VA which lies between woodbridge and stafford. I can be in either one within 10 minutes.

Hope all is well with you all...I realize summer is over, but have been wondering and looking if there ever is any swap meets in our area other than Carlyle in Pennsylvania for our 3rd gens..

 

I live in Fairfax County, Im currently deployed but I will see yall this summer when I come home...been looking to go ridin with some other 3rd gens!!... BTW I have been lookin for a set of PBR rear brakes (calipers and all) if anyone comes across some extra in the next couple months Id be more than willing to buy em off ya.

Hey guys! I live in Manassas VA about half a mile from Old Dominion Speedway. I recently changed from 1st Gen Zcar's to a 3rd Gen, 83 Trans Am to be exact. I'm posting this to see if anyone would be interested in helping me put the 350 that I pulled out of my 280z into my 83. Also, if anyone local has a project that they may need a hand with I wanted to offer mine. I want to be part of the noise from the dragstrip this year instead of just hearing it with the windows open.

that would be great. also, since i have limited garage space and no need for the 305 youre more than welcome to take it with you. the only issue i forsee is that my 350 is currently hanging on my engine hoist and the 305 is still in the car. anyhow i appriciate the offer, keep me posted.
