T-56 rebuild shop near DC area?

Does anyone know of a good place to have a T-56 rebuilt localy in the DC, Baltimore NOVA area? I would rather not ship a tranny if there is a good place nearby.

Thanks

You could try Mike Davis (86MikeTPI) here on the board, he does rebuilds in Elkton, MD, just did mine and if you are from the board he might cut you a deal.

Chesapeake Transmission. They moved to just across the bridge to the Eastern Shore a couple years ago ... but they still list a Glen Burnie contact. I wonder if it's something where you drop it (trans or car) off?

Also F Body Central could probably do it. Jason had to close the shop because the rent went up but moved (back) to his garage (in fact, picking up my car tonight).
