Re: Cecil County MD
Best way to learn is to do it yourself. On a Wed or Fri night, its only an extra $5 vs the standard entry fee to make some runs. I couldn't imagine going to cecil and not racing for that price

Re: Cecil County MD
I was there oct 21 with my Trailblazer SS. I'd like to run my Iroc. It's a bone stock 5.7L G92 car with 13000 miles. Hoping for a 14.5-15.0. More towards the 14.5 of course.
A co worker of mine has an 87 LB9 /5 speed Trans am we just modded a bit today so I'm sure he will want to run as well. He ran a 15.5 on the 21st. His tpi runners well all dented so we replaced them with Slp runners. Hopefully he will gain a few......

Re: Cecil County MD
I'd think your IROC should go mid 14s with a decent launch (2.0 60ft or better). Your friend should be easily in the 14s by now, as my own old '87 IROC LB9/5speed went 14.9 at 94mph with just free mods and a crappy launch (2.3 60ft).
Anyway, I'm heading down this Friday (the 9th), anyone else thinking of going? Should be able to get some good numbers since the air will be quite chilly (high 30s is the low), as long as they prep the track decently.

Re: Cecil County MD
Bumping this thread for the last 4 days of the season. Tomorrow (Nov 30th) is the last Friday night they will be open. Gates open at 5pm. $15 to race, can't beat that price!
The last 3 days are Saturdays (Dec 1st/8th/15th). Gates open at 8am. $35 to race.
I haven't decided if I'm going down on Fri or Sat this weekend... Fri night will be a little cooler, but they usually prep the track better on Saturdays...
Anyone going down?
